Impruneta:
vi sono moltissime particolarità che caratterizzano
questa bellissima zona. Innanzi tutto si possono osservare gli artigiani
che lavorano la terracotta (lungo la Via Imprunetana si possono ammirare
delle terrecotte del '700 raffiguranti l'Immacolata Concezione, la
Madonna con il Bambino e l'Annunciazione), oppure possiamo ammirare
le varie chiese romaniche come San Miniato a Quintale, San Lorenzo
alle Rose, o San Pietro a San Gersole. Chi ama il buon cibo conoscerà
la grande qualità dell'olio extravergine di oliva dell'Impruneta
come del buon vino Chianti dei Colli Fiorentini. Inoltre alla fine
di settembre si tiene la Festa dell'Uva, mentre il 18 ottobre quella
di San Luca. E' facile trovare un buon motivo per una gita in questa
zona, basti anche solo pensare alle tante pinete e boschi presenti
, e per chi ama lo sport non può mancare una visita ai campi
di golf all'Ugolino. Oltretutto durante l'anno ci sono vari festival
ed attività culturali da non perdere.
Tavarnuzze: E' un abitato di origine moderna, sviluppatosi
grazie alla presenza della strada postale Senese e dalla strada statale
per Siena e Roma. L'abitato della Vallombrosina a picco sugli Scopeti
è molto caratteristico, il borgo di Montebuoni fu un castello
dei Buondelmonti , nella Chiesa di San Pietro si trova una tavola
di scuola fiorentina risalente al 300. |

Many peculiarities distinguish this wonderful area. First of
all you may admire our famous terracotta handicrafts (along
the Via Imprunetana there are many terracottas of XVIII century
portraying the Immaculate Conception, the Virgin Mary with Infant
Jesus and the Annunciation). Moreover you may visit our maravellous
Romanesque churches such as San Miniato a Quintale, San Lorenzo
alle Rose, San Pietro a San Gersole. The gourmets may taste
high quality extra virgin olive oil of Impruneta, as well as
fine Chianti wine of the Florentine Hills. Furthermore at the
end of September you may enjoy our Festa dell'uva (grapes fair)
and on 18th October the fair of San Luca. There is more than
one reason to come and discover this area: let us only think
about the our numerous pinewoods and forests. The lovers of
sport don't have to forget to visit the Ugolino Golf Club.
Eventually during the year you may enjoy many festivals and
cultural activities.
Tavarnuzze: it is a village of modern origins which developed
thanks to the Via Senese and the national road to Siena and
Rome. Moreover you may admire the village of Vallombrosina and
the one of Montebuoni which was a castle of the Buondelmonti.
At last the San Pietro Church you may find a IV century painting
of the Florentine school. |
